Adyar Library and Research Centre houses Manuscripts of type 'Transcript'. These are replicas of original made before the original degraded/destroyed/lost.
Collection consists of nearly 1300 'books' of such manuscripts. Each book contains one or more leaves (pages).
Catalog of such books is in paper registers. Digitization of paper register is work-in-progress.
Digitization of 'books' have started with digital camera. One book is selected, and all it's leaves are photographed. One leaf produces one image file.
