Mr Shikhar Agnihotri

International Vice-President of the Theosophical Society

Mr. Shikhar Agnihotri is a graduate in Bachelor of Nautical Science from Mumbai University, India. He began his professional life in Merchant Shipping and served for a decade before voluntarily stepping away, guided by an inner call to look beyond a conventional career and to explore the deeper questions of life and the Self.

His introduction to Theosophy came naturally through his mother, Mrs. Vasumati, a member since the 1980s. Inspired by her influence and his own inner search, he joined the Theosophical Society in 2008. Since then, his involvement has steadily deepened. He is a founder member of the TS Pragya Lodge and the TOS Maitri Group in Lucknow, and has served as National Lecturer of the Indian Section of the TS since 2016.

Mr. Agnihotri has conducted study camps, seminars, youth camps, and public lectures across India on Theosophy and holistic living. He has also facilitated online sessions for graduate students as part of a value-added course at Vasant Kanya Mahavidyalaya, Varanasi. His writings have appeared in national and international journals in multiple languages, and since 2019 he has served as an International Speaker for Theosophical Society Adyar. Alongside his wife, Catalina, he also launched the YouTube channel PragyaCSstudio in 2020 to make Theosophical teachings accessible in multiple languages.

He belongs to the TS General Council as the International Vice-President. He is also an International Lecturer, and volunteers full-time at the International Headquarters in Adyar, Chennai, where he resides with his wife and daughter.

For him, life is the one book that cannot be borrowed or repeated—read through awareness, lived through understanding, and realised through inner transformation. Guided by a deep intuitive conviction, he continues to walk the Theosophical path, knowing there is no other way to truly live.
