Handling Stress in Today’s World
Retirement – Beyond the Visiting Card | Session 3
Wisdom For Living - Talk # 40
The world we live in today is undoubtedly more comfortable and connected than it was a few decades ago. Yet, paradoxically, we seem to be carrying far more stress.
Somewhere along the way, Growth, Success and Happiness have become intertwined. We are constantly encouraged to grow, achieve more, earn more, possess more and become more successful—with the assumption that happiness will naturally follow.
But does it?
Today, sustainability is often discussed in terms of carbon footprints, climate change and environmental regulations. But long before these concepts became popular, ancient civilizations had evolved ways of living in harmony with nature. This talk will explore those timeless principles and examine how they can guide us in meeting the environmental challenges of our times.
We look forward to your presence.
With warm regards,
S. Ramkumar

Dr Jaiswal's talk explores how science offers an objective and balanced approach to understanding health and environmental issues, helping us move towards a healthier life in harmony with nature.
Please come to the program 🙏
Thanks a lot 🙏

On 7-2-26 during Session 1 – “Beyond the Visiting Card,” we explored an important dimension of life—Finances. We reflected on questions such as:
How much is enough for retirement?
What should be your ideal nest egg?
How do we approach savings and investments meaningfully?
(…and the insightful discussions that followed.)
In the upcoming session, we move beyond finances to explore the other four essential pillars of life:
February's Wisdom For Living is a talk by S Ramkumar! On Retirement, beyond the visiting card....
Today, we see an interesting contrast: many youngsters want to retire early, while those nearing retirement wish to work longer. Both are searching for the same thing—freedom, relevance, and meaning.
Warm greetings and best wishes for the New Year. May the year ahead bring you lasting happiness, good health, inner growth, and prosperity.
We are delighted to share that the next program in our Wisdom for Living Series will be held on 24th January. We will have Dr. Aswathy Rajan speaking on the thought-provoking theme “Lessons We Can Learn from Nature.” Nature has always been our greatest teacher, and Dr. Aswathy will gently guide us in understanding how its wisdom can enrich our daily lives.
Our next talk on the Wisdom For Living Series of Monthly Programs is going to be a talk by Dr Akanksha Jaiswal, Assistant Professor at Loyola Institute of Business Management, Chennai.
All are Welcome!
